Extenda AB has appointed Håkan Valberg as the new CEO. Hakan comes from Advent Software / SS&C, where he was President of Europe, Middle East and Africa. He has spent the past 30 years in the international software industry and couples this with a broad base of leadership experience in global business development, client service and sales.

In addition to his work at Advent, Hakan Valberg has a long record of leadership experience from other international companies in various industries, such as Retail, Supply Chain and Financial Services. He has previously served as Senior Vice President Product Management and Alliances of Industri Matematik, as Regional Sales Director for i2/Jda and for more than 10 years for IBM in management positions. In addition to this he has also held several board positions including Readsoft, Innometrics and Prodacapo.
